After reading Jennifer Wilcox's interview from below I got thinking about remaking old paintings using photography. One of the most amazing photographers I found was Hendrik Kerstens.
Dutch photographer Hendrik Kerstens uses his daughter as his model, immortalizing her,
picturing capturing moments in her own life as well as using her in remakes of paintings from Dutch Masters of
the seventeenth century. He creates these images using everyday contemporary objects which I think give it a clever and amusing twist.
